SOME OF OUR RESIDENTS
CERF's resident horses enjoy leisure and companionship at the ranch's facility in Winchester, California.
Our current residents include:Felon (G) 1992 CHESTNUT
Persian Bold-Flying Circus, by Gay Mecene (Ireland Bred)
As a three-year-old in France, Felon had one win and ran 3rd in the Prix de Pontarme. He was sent to the Oak Tree Breeders' Cup Mile (G3). Between the ages of six and eight years, Felon added five wins, one second, and 4 third-place finishes to his racing career.
At 9-years-old in the year 2001 he had three wins including his last race, the Hasta La Vista Handicap, going 1-mile and 7/8 on the turf at Turf Paradise in Phoenix, Arizona.
With over $400,000 in winnings he retired to CERF in April, 2002. he has been one of the industry's favorite old campaigners. With his come-from-behind racing strategy he was always a thrill to watch. He has a heart as big as the many racetracks he ran on.
