CERF's resident horses enjoy leisure and companionship at the ranch's facility in Winchester, California.
Our current residents include:Venus Genus (g) • 1992 •
An 11-year old Lord Gaylord gelding, retired to CERF in January 2003 after completing a remarkable racing career. He garnered earnings of $328,272 from 10 wins, 7 placings and 10 showings in a 42 race career.
Considering his age and the length of his racing career, Venus Genus is in very good condition and will enjoy many years of retirement with his fellow distinguished geldings. Our thanks go to Mace Siegel and Eddie from Alahambra for seeing that this worthy horse was able to retire gracefully at CERF.
